Here's my response to the prompt:
Video viewing is great for classroom use. There are various ways video can be used. Some of the ways are to keep the subject matter interesting. Videos are useful because they include most of the learning forms that we use to shape lessons. Auditory, visual, and it can also be used for people who learn from “hands on” experiences. This can be achieved from handing out a graded assignment on the video for the students to complete. It could include thought provoking questions that require thoughtful responses.
This is the channel I subcribed to: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3yA8nDwraeOfnYfBWun83g
The video that I selected to share and discuss:
I liked this video because of the illustrations and the way that the guy explained why we get cravings. I have a sheet that correlates to the video and ask questions that would provoke the thoughts of my students. The reason why I selected this video is because I think it would be a good source to teach to my future Health class.
I think the Public Speaking VR would be super helpful! I know that most people would rather be dead than how to speak in a public space. It would be great practice for my students. I would also use Anatomy 4D to review the body in a health education class. GradeProof would also be a useful app. I would use it while writing emails.
My valuable link to share:
I really like this because it gives me ideas for new lesson plans. It is helpful to listen to an experienced teacher talk about how to set up a game and the safety concerns of games. Safety could be overlooked when planning lessons.
