The purpose of assessments are to measure the student's understanding, learning, and growth through a semester, daily, or periodically. One of the videos talked about the different types of assessments. Interim is known as the "checkpoint assessment". It measure student's learning during the half way point or different points in a class. Summative assessments are measured after a topic or a unit is completed. Formative assessments measure the growth of students daily. I also liked the video on the growth mindset vs the fixed mindset. Growth mindset is a concept that my coach is constantly trying to make us understand.
My quiz is based on the rules of volleyball and how the game is played. I chose the topic because I just taught a lesson through my KHSS 213 class where we taught fourth and fifth graders how to set and pass. At the end of the segment, my partner and I handed out the rules of volleyball so they could take them home to read them.
This is the link to the Kahoot game that I made. Hope you all enjoy!
